Travis Stephens

Between Someday and Never, the debut solo album from Travis Stephens, is heavily influenced by a diverse array of genres. Whether purposefully or not, Stephens simultaneously integrates elements of Garage-Rock, Country, Soul, Post-Punk, and Brit-Pop into a stew that could easily go wrong, but doesn't. As a writer, he seems to understand the importance of allowing the song to take him where it wants to go. A fearless lyricist, Stephens' words are raw, honest, and often cheeky.
"From Son House to Bauhaus, King Curtis to King Diamond, FEAR to Tears For Fears. Everywhere in between."
